Another craft (quilt projects)

Another project Sarah tried this past year and finished at our Christmas family get-together was a quilt for her doll "Molly".
She chose the fabric and the design. I helped her with organizing and cutting the fabric and learning to sew a bit. I was really proud of her!
Jan also finished her Kaffe Fassett quilt that she had been working on since last spring ---so it was a moment of celebration as both projects were completed while we were visiting the beach.
The photo was really colorful!
I am reminded of Don telling his daughter: "We don't do pastels!"

I love it! I love that our family is creative and we like to make things. (Even though our taste in colors and patterns might vary!) Bev and I have promised we'd never buy fabric for each other. She likes bold jewel tones. I like old style country fabrics. Thanks for sharing photo!

I like that we can all contribute to this. It makes it more fun and less like work. Kind of like a quilting group working together...everyone brings their own fabric pieces and we see what we can create.
