Brent's WASL

I spent an hour today reviewing Brent's 4th grade WASL. I know he didn't pass, but I was so thrilled to see his work. I could tell he had made real effort to write out his answers.

The math coach said it was clear that his math knowledge was good. In fact, we found several answers that were given no points...but she said she was surprised by this. He had done a great deal of work, gotten the correct answer, but because he was unable to explain it, they gave him no credit. She said, she thought he deserved some points. It would have gotten his score within a handful of points of passing. That's good to know. So, we'll see what happens this year! -Patti
